Thirty-four motor vehicles and parts manufacturers were listed on the Fortune Global 500 this year, with the top 3 as Volkswagen, Toyota and Stellantis.

Among the 34, nine are from China with BYD rocketing to the 212th spot this year from 436th last year with a total revenue of $63.04 billion in its previous fiscal year, according to the Fortune.

As a high-profile new energy car maker, Tesla ranked 152nd this year, and its spot was 242nd in 2022 and 392nd in 2021.
