Art Market Budapest opened its doors between Oct 19 and 22 at the eye-catching Balna in Hungary. Among the participants, Chen Yanran, an 18-year-old emerging illustrator from China, graced this prestigious gathering.

As the youngest artist to be featured, Chen injected new vitality and creativity into the exhibition. She showcased an exquisite collection of four works: Nowhere to Go, Green, Time Has Passed, and Me and My Friend.

One of her pieces was acquired by the renowned Hungarian violinist Roby Lakatos. The art derivatives on display also bewitched visitors, with many enthusiastic viewers lining to visit her booth.

Her creations bear the imprint of Japanese comics and the avant-garde essence of French experimental films. In 2023, Chen debuted her first solo exhibition, Nowhere, in Tokyo, garnering recognition in the Asian art community.
