Changchun airport rolls out runway safety measures as snowfall hits

As the temperature dropped around 10:30 am on Monday, the city of Changchun in Jilin province received a new round of snowfall.

On Monday, the National Meteorological Center renewed an orange warning for blizzards, the second-highest level, and a blue warning for cold waves, the lowest level.

Blizzards are expected in some parts of southeastern Inner Mongolia autonomous region and Heilongjiang, as well as most parts of Jilin and Liaoning provinces.
