Lantern show to kick-start 2024 China-France Culture and Tourism Year

Models of signature landmarks from Shanghai, the birthplace of the Yuyuan Garden Lantern Show, will also be on display through colorful, dazzling lights and lanterns.

The duration of the Yuyuan Garden Lantern Show will span across major Eastern and Western holidays such as New Year's Day, Spring Festival and Lantern Festival. Over 350 performances and activities will be held during the show, including folk music, operas, acrobatics, martial arts and other Chinese cultural performances, giving French visitors an opportunity to enjoy the lanterns and feel the charm of Chinese culture.
