The Hua'neng Longdong energy base is initially connected to the local substation to support local power use, but it will be used as a supporting new energy source to be exported to Shandong province after an ultra-high voltage DC transmission channel is completed, according to the base.

The new energy station has adopted the integrated wind-solar power layout (integrated circuits), which has increased land utilization, reduced investment costs, and enhanced transmission stability.

It is expected to have a total installed capacity of 6 million kilowatts. It will generate over 14 billion kilowatt hours upon completion, saving 4.2 million tons of standard coal and reducing carbon dioxide emissions by 11 million tons.
