Dance drama highlights contribution of noted architect

The dance drama highlights Lin's contribution as an architect, who was trained at the University of Pennsylvania. She was known for participating in the design of the national emblem of China and the Monument to the People's Heroes, as well as her passion for protecting and preserving ancient architectural treasures.

The dance drama also celebrates the 120th birthday of Lin, which falls this June.

According to Ba Tu, Party secretary of Beijing Dance Academy, the year 2024 marks the 70th birthday of Beijing Dance Academy and this new dance drama is the first production by the school staged in 2024.

The dance drama combines a diversity of contemporary dance styles, such as ballroom dance. It will tour nationwide starting from this April.
