Youth basketball match celebrates China-Russia friendship

A youth basketball match was held at the China National Children's Center on Tuesday, as part of a series of cultural events celebrating the 75th anniversary of diplomatic relations between China and Russia as well as the ongoing China-Russia Cultural Year.

Students from Beijing No 35 High School and the Russian embassy school in Beijing showcased their skills in a thrilling display of sportsmanship and team spirit.

The event was supported by the All-China Women's Federation and the Russian embassy in Beijing, and co-organized by the China National Children's Center and the Russian embassy school. In the coming months, a diverse array of activities will take place to further promote exchanges between Chinese and Russian youth, including children's art exhibitions and intercultural dialogues.
