With around 160 members aged 11 to 12, the Beijing Golden Sail Junior Orchestra has been garnering recognition both domestically and internationally. This January, the orchestra held a concert to mark its 10th anniversary at the Forbidden City Concert Hall in Beijing.

Hu Yang, the founding member and head of the Beijing Golden Sail Junior Orchestra, recounts the orchestra's growth and unforgettable experiences in the past decade, including performances at iconic venues such as the Sydney Opera House and the World Expo in Astana, Kazakhstan. Hu highlights the transformative power of music education.
