New play puts spotlight on sense of belonging and what it means to people, Cheng Yuezhu reports.

"When I stepped into the CCDC rehearsal room for the first time, I saw all the dancers rehearsing for the song. It felt like a K-pop video coming to life in front of my eyes," Lo says.

"I'm always trepidatious about composing for dance, but this time the choreography is totally tailor-made for my music. Witnessing what they've come up with and how everything fits together is immensely exciting and satisfying."

In one of the songs called One Way Ticket, for example, the main dancer's movement is designed to keep going forward, without turning back, despite all the suitcases in front of her.
