Thirty-three artworks were displayed at the exhibition, which were created by Chinese artists Ji Guoqiang and Zhu Wei, as well as French artists Matthieu Dorval, Marie-Angèle Castillo and Philippe de Lestrange. The exhibition was curated by An Xiaotong, a Chinese artist who lived and worked in France. An was also the academic host of the exhibition.

Organized by the China Cultural Center in Paris, the exhibition presented both the Eastern ink paintings and Western oil paintings, traditional paintings and contemporary art at the same time, which enabled different cultures and values to interact and integrate with each other, and thus demonstrated the beauty of harmony and cultural integration between Chinese and French civilizations.
