The conference organized a series of scientific events, including "Evening of Mathematics," "Evening of Physics," "Evening of Computer Science," "High School and College Students Academic Poster Exhibition," "Tsinghua TopTalks," and "Face-to-Face with Scientists." Over 500 outstanding young students of different ages from both domestic and international backgrounds engaged in lively and in-depth interactions with leading scientists. While gaining a sense of the spirit of science, they also demonstrated their thirst for knowledge and their passion for exploring basic sciences.

This year, the Basic Science Lifetime Award ceremony was lightened up by a special segment where middle school students presented flowers and gifted portraits to the award recipients. Fifteen middle school students from over 10 high schools across the country won in the "I Paint for Scientists" competition, offering the oil painting portrait they created. This is one of the most memorable and touching moments for all scientists and young talents attending the event, signally the scientific inheritance among generation.

The winner of the Basic Science Lifetime Awards for mathematics, Andrew Wiles, said: "Seeing the rapid progress China is making in basic sciences, there will certainly be more achievements and contributions in the future."
