Dance company returns to Beijing stage

The Tao Dance Theater will stage its "Numerical Series" 16 and 17 at the National Centre for the Performing Arts in Beijing on Oct 6 and 7.

The contemporary dance company made its debut with 16 and 17 in Shanghai on Aug 24 and 25.

Co-commissioned by La Biennale di Venezia (Venice Biennale), these two new works, which continue the tradition of the company's number series — naming each piece after the number of dancers involved — deepen the study of body movement and enrich the circular movement technique, discovering an infinite possibility that "changes instantaneously".
