Organizers plan events down to a tea
The event features demonstrations from inheritors of 44 national-level intangible cultural heritage items related to traditional Chinese tea processing techniques and associated practices, along with other tea-related heritage items. These demonstrations encompass tea-related performances, teaware crafting, and tea pastry making, showcasing the unique regional characteristics of Pu'er tea culture.
One of the highlights is an exhibition held at the Pu'er Cultural Center Square. This exhibition, presented in a time-sequential manner, recreates the historic grandeur of the Ancient Tea Horse Road and creates a tea culture experience zone. It displays traditional tea processing techniques and modern tea culture, vividly illustrating the significant role of Chinese tea culture in historical development, trade exchanges, and ethnic integration.
