US rapper Ye brings 'warmth, strength' to Haikou

US rapper Kanye West hosted his world tour listening event in Haikou, Hainan province on Saturday evening, marking his second event of the month in the city. [Photo provided to chinadaily.com.cn]

About 40,000 fans from both domestic and international locations congregated for the event, generating a lively and charged atmosphere for the 47-year-old artist.

At the conclusion of the listening event, Ye paid tribute and extended greetings to his childhood residence, China, and the fans who had gathered from far and wide at the venue - Wuyuan River Sports Stadium.
