China issues yellow alert for snowstorms, cold wave

The NMC also maintained a yellow alert for the ongoing cold front, forecasting temperature drops of 6 to 10 C across central and eastern China from 8 am Monday to 8 am Thursday.

Northeastern Inner Mongolia, central and the northern part of North China, as well as parts of Northeast China may experience temperature declines of 12 to 14 C, with some areas plunging by more than 16 C.
