University play celebrates life of helicopter pioneer Wang Shicun

NUAA is the only university in China that offers a comprehensive educational system for helicopter studies, encompassing undergraduate, master's, and doctoral programs. Wang Shicun has dedicated over 50 years to teaching and research in this field. He is a pioneer in China's helicopter technology and a renowned expert in the international helicopter community.

The "Wang Shicun Vortex Theory", which remains widely cited internationally, is the first theory in the field to be named after a Chinese individual. Over the years, Wang has trained thousands of students, many of whom have become chief designers of helicopter models and leading figures in China's aviation industry.
