'Happy Chinese New Year', 'Nihao! China' events dazzle Belarus
On Dec 21 and 23, the "Chinese Culture Day - Happy Chinese New Year" concerts and "Nihao! (Hello!) China" tourism promotional events were held in both Minsk and Maladzyechna, Minsk Region, Belarus.
Artists from the Central Academy of Drama of China, Traditional Chamber Orchestra from the College of Music of Fujian Normal University, the Cangzhou Acrobatic Troupe and the National Academic Bolshoi Opera and Ballet Theatre of Belarus performed together, presenting the audience with splendid performances.
Prior to the concert held in Minsk, performers from four Confucius Institutes in Minsk showcased traditional Chinese cultural activities at the Belarusian State Philharmonic Hall. The activities included lion dances, calligraphy, painting, bracelet weaving and Chinese knots, attracting guests who were eager to participate and experience Chinese culture.
