Liu Dao Tu exhibits the minimalist beauty of Chinese art. The one-hour performance featured two performers — the seasoned actress Shi Xiaomei plays Wu and actor Li Zhengcheng portrays Lu — with sentimental, melodious singing and dialogue narrating the complexity of human nature.

The performances to come are also written by Luo but for operas of other regions, including Yangzhou Opera from Jiangsu, Fuzhou Opera (or Min Opera) from Fujian province and Qinqiang Opera from Shaanxi province to celebrate the country's diverse operatic traditions and offer various historical perspectives.
