Raising the national flag, inspiring the spirit of a city

China's first comprehensive national flag education museum — combining public education about the national flag, revolutionary heritage, and cultural tourism — opened in Ruian, Wenzhou, Zhejiang province, on Sept 28, 2019.

Its design draws on the traditional Chinese concept of "round heaven and square earth", symbolizing heavenly blessings and earthly peace.
