Flocks of tourists are heading to Heishui county in Aba Tibetan and Qiang autonomous prefecture, Sichuan province, to catch a glimpse of the surrounding forest as it explodes into dazzling colors during its peak viewing season.

Covering nearly 3,000 square kilometers, the colorful forest in Heishui offers its best views from mid-October to early November each year. The forest is mainly composed of the Naizigou and Kalonggou scenic spots, the Dagu Glacier, and San'ao Snow Mountain, each offering its own distinctive scenery.
