BEIJING: Prices of China-made cars fell slightly in April from March, the second monthly drop in a row, said a report from the price monitoring center under the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC), China's top economic planner, Thursday.
Prices of imported cars rose 1.93 percent in April from March, or up 4.66 percent from the same period last year.
Among domestically-made cars, passenger vehicle prices dropped 0.36 percent month-on-month, but were up 0.92 percent year-on-year.
More car models have been on the market in the second quarter, resulting in intensive competition, but price fluctuations would not be great, said the report.
