Stefan Doboczky, a member of the managing board at Royal DSM NV, a global science-based company active in health, nutrition and materials, said Li's remark has given lots of focus to China's growth model based on consumption in future, which will have a positive impact on the businesses in the country.
"The Chinese government has shown its commitment to providing a sustainable investment environment for foreign companies," he said. "The economic slowdown which is underway in the country is reasonable and right considering overcapacity problems in some industries."
Doboczky said the international company, which has done business in China over 50 years, will continue to invest heavily in the country and become a partner on the journey of China's sustainable development.
