BEIJING - China Southern Airlines on Wednesday launched non-stop flights between Guangzhou and Jeju Island in the Republic of Korea to serve the needs of increasing Chinese tourists.
Outbound and inbound flights, numbered CZ3059 and CZ3060, will be available every Wednesday and Saturday using an Airbus A319.
Chinese airlines have been steadily increasing flights to the Republic of Korea as the country has become one of the most popular destinations for Chinese tourists.
According to data from the Korea National Tourism Organization, the number of Chinese tourists is expected to reach 6 million this year.
