Chinese stock market was bearish for about five years until late 2014. With ample liquidity and confidence in the economy, the benchmark Shanghai index recently edged over the 4,000 mark. The Shanghai Composite Index stood on its highest level in seven years, closing at 4,121.72 points on Monday, while the Shenzhen Component Index climbed nearly 1 percent to 14,149.5 points.
