Alibaba Group Holding Ltd ranks the first among China's internet companies for second year, according to a list of China's top 100 internet companies in 2016 released by the Internet Society of China and the Ministry of Industry and Information on Tuesday.

The ranking uses both financial indicators, such as revenue, profit and human capital, and performance indicators, such as traffic and active users, as references to rate each company on the four dimensions of scale, social influence, growth potential and social responsibility.

Having been released annually since 2013, the list reflects the status and pattern of Chinese internet industry's development.

Here is a list of the top 10 Chinese internet companies.
