Volvo Cars China saw a sales growth of 32.8 percent in 2014 outperforming it's annual target sales of 800,000 units, according to company's press release.
According to the automaker, the company touched on a new monthly sales high in December, moving 8,461 vehicles.
The car maker's best selling model in China was the locally produced SUV XC60, with a volume of 32,831 units sold, 21.2 percent more than that of 2013. Another China-made model, S60L sedan contributed 23,368 units in 2014, while the V40 and V40 Cross Country sold more than 100,000 combined.
