BEIJING - Dongfeng Peugeot Citroen Automobile Company Ltd will recall 336 vehicles from May 18, China's consumer quality watchdog has said.
A total of 287 Citroen C4 PICASSO produced from Aug 18 to Oct 13, 2015 will be recalled, according to a statement from the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine.
Door lock may fail, making it impossible to lock the doors. In some situations, the doors may suddenly unlock and open.
Another 49 imported Citroen C4 PICASSO manufactured from Sep 15 to Oct 13, 2015 will also be recalled due to problems with the safety belt.
The company will check the recalled vehicles and replace the parts free of charge.
