Chinaplas targets international reputation By Jia Jingqi (China Daily) Updated: 2006-04-11 09:03 Adsale is one of the pioneers and leading organizers of
international exhibitions in China. Since its establishment in 1978, Adsale has
enhanced technology and business exchanges between thousands of suppliers and
millions of customers in over 20 industries every year through its exhibitions,
publications and online media.
Adsale now has a presence in 28 countries
and regions, including the United States, Singapore and Viet Nam.
With a
focus on the Chinese mainland, the Hong Kong service company holds 16 to 17
exhibitions every year.
"We value the quality rather than quantity of
every exhibition," said Chu.
"As we are exposed to a globalized world,
only if the exhibition quality is raised can we draw more attention from
overseas and earn a good reputation."
Adsale's Chinaplas provides such a
well-established platform for exhibitors and customers that it is highly spoken
of by industry insiders.
"Imported technologies and equipment have
benefited China's plastics industry at large by improving the overall product
quality," said Liu Jingfen, vice-president and secretary-general of Shanghai
Society of Plastics Industry, at a recent press conference, adding: "In my
opinion, the rapid development of China's plastics sector can be partially
attributed to the efforts of Adsale."
Chu said his company would continue
its efforts to include more industries on its exhibition agenda.
Echoing
the nation's industrial policies in the 11th Five-Year Programme (2006-10),
which highlight such sectors as agriculture, biological technology, animation
and the light industry, Adsale hopes to bring these industries under the
spotlight and contribute to their growth.
