National survey of warehousing resources launched

The China Association of Warehouses and Storage (CAWS) has started surveys of public warehousing resources in 100 large- and medium-sized cities and transportation hubs starting from this year.

Meanwhile, the establishment of national warehousing resource websites and warehousing service e-commerce systems is underway.

Currently, China has a total of 10,177 public warehousing enterprises with 399,000 employees in this sector. The total assets of China's warehousing industry reached 257.8 billion yuan (US$32.9 billion).
