Film & TV Cultural and Creative Industrial Park opens

The Cross-Straits Film & TV Cultural and Creative Industrial Park officially opened for business in Fuzhou on Oct 6, 2011.

The park is the first professional cultural and creative industrial park in the film and television industry in Fujian province. It will be built as the base for Cross-Straits films and television creations, exchanges and cooperation.

The cultural and creative industry is one of the most promising industries in the 21st century. The area where the Cross-Straits Film & TV Culture Co Ltd is located – the “Cultural and Creative Avenue” - has been listed as the key project of Fujian province and Fuzhou city.

Relying on Fujian Media Group’s quality resources, the company has transformed and developed based on its original architecture and facilities of its current location – the factory of former Fujian Film Studio, and constructed a film and TV cultural and creative industrial park with unique characteristics.

Thanks to the listing and establishment of the film and TV cultural and creative industrial park, Fujian can better engage five areas between Fujian and Taiwan province, and attract well-known screen creative businesses and talents across the Taiwan Straits into the park.
