MACAO - Macao's visitor arrivals in package tours in November 2013 decreased by 9.9 percent year on year to 769,447, according to figures released by the city's Statistics and Census Service (DSEC) Tuesday.
Visitors from the Chinese mainland (67,931) dropped by 11.7 percent year-on-year, which was followed by China's Taiwan (58,163) and South Korea (35,726) and China's Hong Kong (35,190), the figures indicated.
In the first 11 months of 2013, visitors in package tours totaled 8,900,010, up by 8.1 percent year-on-year according to the DSEC.
Meanwhile, Macao residents traveling outbound using services of travel agencies were 122,593 in November 2013, up by 2.7 percent year-on-year. Those traveling in package tour totaled 46,341, with the Chinese mainland, South Korea, China's Hong Kong and Taiwan being the most popular destinations.
