DAVOS - Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi on Friday expressed hopes that China and Israel advance the economic and technological cooperation mechanism between their two governments.
He made the remarks at a meeting with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in Davos, Switzerland.
Wang said he hoped to see more concrete achievements of their cooperation in the fields of high technology, environment protection and energy as quickly as possible.
Netanyahu spoke highly of the momentum of the bilateral relationship between their countries. He suggested that both sides explore new fields of cooperation, such as in infrastructure construction and construction worker exchanges. He hoped that both sides make join efforts to scale up their economic and trade links.
Wang and Netanyahu also exchanged views on issues of mutual concern such as the Israeli and Palestinian peace talks and the nuclear program of Iran.
