One of China's leading exhibition organizers has announced the appointment of two senior executives as part of its ambitious growth strategy.

Edwin Tan has been promoted to COO, with effect from March 1, 2014.

Thomas Huang has been promoted to Vice President of Reed Exhibitions Shanghai, effective February 1, 2014.

Reed Exhibitions Greater China says the corporate shuffle is part of its plan to develop new launches and forge fresh partnerships as it tries to keep pace with the growing size of the business and operational complexities of the local exhibition industry.

Edwin Tan, Senior Vice President, Reed Exhibitions Greater China, has been promoted to COO, with effect from March 1, 2014. In his new role, Tan will support Reed China's President Nat Wong in day-to-day operations as well as spearhead sustainable growth initiatives for Reed across China.

Thomas Huang, having served with distinction as Acting Vice President of Reed Exhibitions Shanghai, has been promoted to Vice President of Reed Exhibitions Shanghai, effective February 1, 2014.
