Zhu Rui, president of China Association of Women Entrepreneurs |
A women's association group on Monday in Beijing announced plans on how to better serve its members across the country this year.
China Association of Women Entrepreneurs said it will hold seminars that will analyze economic conditions and policies.
Zhu Rui, president of the association, said the move is aimed at helping women entrepreneurs have a better understanding of the worldwide economic situation and trends of the industry they operate in as that would help them take advantage of the opportunities.
Cen Yinghui, a woman entrepreneur working in the home appliance industry, said she used to focus only on managing her factory in the town of Lecong, Shunde city, Guangdong province, but later realized that she needed to go out and know what was going on outside and to learn from others.
The association will also hold seminars on China's newly-amended securities law. Zhu said this is aimed at helping women entrepreneurs list their enterprises and make use of the power of the capital market.
The association will form a delegation to attend the China-Africa Cooperation Forum to be held in Sudan in April and assemble a team to participate in a women's forum to be held in Paris in June.
This will help broaden women entrepreneurs' vision and make them play a role in regional cooperation and global governance, Zhu said.
The forum will also aid local associations of women entrepreneurs helping female college students set up their own businesses.
