Graduate sees success by selling jade online

Xu Yanjing, a 26-year-old university graduate, in Jiaozuo city, Central China's Henan province, achieved success by operating an online jade store.

He started his own startup career in 2012 by mainly selling jade jewelry in his hometown. After a period of flat performance, Xu began operating an online shop for jade business in June, 2012.

At the beginning, Xu was responsible for all the work, including taking pictures of the items he sold, after-sale services and promoting the products. Now the monthly sale of his online shop reaches 350,000 yuan ($56,000).

Xu said e-commerce makes the life of his customers convenient, and he is confident about the future prospects of his online business.
