OSAKA - Beijing Capital Airlines will launch flight services between Kansai International Airport in western Japan and Hangzhou city in eastern China on Friday, the New Kansai International Airport Co Ltd said on Monday.
According to the airport, the round-trip flights will operate every Tuesday and Friday. The carrier will use A320 aircraft with capacity for 172 passengers. All of the seats will be economic class.
The flights will make traveling between China and Japan more convenient, and the number of Chinese tourists to Japan will continue to grow, said the airport.
Beijing Capital Airlines, a subsidiary of Hainan Airlines, is based at Beijing Capital Airport. With a fleet of more than 45 aircraft, it has opened over 130 flights both in China and abroad.
