More than 100 Korean companies carried thousands of products in nine categories at Sunday's launch of the Korean Goods Fair in Beijing.

Organized by Beijing-based Founsee Group, Korean cosmetics, clothing, kitchen supplies, children's products, leather products and health products, were all on display at the fair.

The fair is expected to attract 100,000 visitors and will run throughout the week.

China and South Korea signed a free trade agreement in June and is expected to be implemented into law later this year. The deal predicts to boost bilateral annual trade volume to over $300 billion, directly impacting the economy of the Asia-Pacific Region.

South Korea has been one of the most popular destinations for Chinese tourists. Chinese online travel platform, Ctrip.com, recently said that Japan, Thailand and South Korea topped the list of most traveled destinations for Chinese mainland vacationers during the National Day holiday.
