Revenues of Airbus Group SE increased 6 percent to 64.5 billion euros in 2015, which was mainly driven by the strengthening dollar and its commercial aircraft business with a 8 percent rise in revenues, the group announced on Thursday.
Airbus Group delivered 635 commercial aircraft in 2015, including 14 A350 XWBs, up from 629 in 2014.
In terms of orders, Airbus received 1,080 net commercial aircraft orders in 2015, including 136 A330s, and 333 net orders of Airbus Helicopters in the year.
The group's order book value reached a record of 1,006 billion euros by the end of 2015, including commercial aircraft, helicopter as well as defense and space products.
"The record order book supports our commercial aircraft ramp-up plans and we are driving operational efficiency," said Tom Enders, CEO of Airbus Group.
