Google's Chromebook reversed its poor sales and cracked 5.2 million units last year alone. The sales volume may nearly triple by 2017, according to analysis company Gartner.
According to Fast Company, more than 1 million Chromebooks were shipped to the K–12 education market in the US in the third quarter of 2014 alone.
The annual Google developer conference will take place on May 28 and 29 in San Francisco's Moscone Center.
