"2014 has been the year of drone video, and it's almost entirely thanks to this Shenzhen, China-based company that makes the suddenly ubiquitous Phantom line of consumer drones," said Fast Company.
According to Fast Company, DJI was founded in 2006, but in just the past three years its sales have grown by 150 percent, making it the fastest-growing drone manufacturer in the world.
DJI has claimed more than 50 percent of global market share in small unmanned aircraft, according to the company.
