The Macworld iWorld Asia 2015 expo will be kick off on Aug 27-30 at the China National Center in Beijing, International Data Group announced on Friday.
With the theme of "Meet, Mobile, Ecology and Fusion", this year's expo will have a smart device exhibition area to display the latest wearable gadgets, smart home appliances, and Internet-connected cars, as well as other exhibition areas showcasing mobile apps and product accessories. Visitors can play the latest gadgets at the expo.
A forum related to Internet finance will be also held during the four-day event.
After long-term exploration and unremitting efforts, the Macworld iWorld Asia is transforming from an expo for Apple's peripheral merchandise and parts, to a platform for Internet firms to display leading-edge technology.
Co-hosted by US International Data Group (IDG) and Beijing Investment Promotion Bureau with support from the Beijing Municipal Government, the expo has been successfully held four times in China since 2011. San Francisco hosted the first Macworld expo in 1985.
