Caveman romance for reluctant lover

Tianjin pedestrians failed to see the romance when they spotted a man dragging a distressed woman along the street last week.

Passers-by assumed they were witnessing a kidnapping and rushed to help the tearful woman.

But they were shocked to learn the couple were lovers on their way to the marriage office.

After a relationship of 11 years, the man had decided to do the honourable thing, regardless of his girlfriend's obvious reticence.
