Man uses girlfriend to pay parking fee

A Nanning resident surnamed Huang had to mortgage his girlfriend when he came up short 0.2 yuan (2.5 US cents) for his parking fee in this capital city of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region.

Huang and his girlfriend, surnamed Wei, went shopping in a supermarket in the city's Dongge Road on Sunday.

When they finished and arrived in the parking place to take their motorbike, Huang was required to pay a total of 0.5 yuan (6.25 US cents), but had only 0.3 yuan (3.75 US cents) left.

Huang, who refused to borrow the 2 jiao from local pedestrians, "deposited" Wei in the parking place and rode his motorbike home to fetch money. He returned 15 minutes later to pick up his girlfriend.
