Woman mistakenly abuses police over affair

A woman surnamed Mei was detained for 10 days recently for disturbing police hotline 110 in Luquan of Yunnan Province, as her love rival, surnamed Peng, had been transferring her phone calls there.

Peng had an affair with Mei's husband, but Mei soon discovered the relationship.

To avoid frequent abuse from Mei through her mobile phone, Peng transferred all Mei's calls to the police hotline.

As a result, the unhappy wife called a female operator working for the hotline repeatedly one day and abused the operator as the third party of the affair.
