Love not in the air for pair of bears

A 4-year-old male black bear in Taiyuan Zoo of Shanxi Province drove his ursine bride out of his cage one day last week, dissatisfied with an arranged honeymoon.

Zookeepers placed the female black bear into his cage, hoping they could get along well and mate successfully soon.

But the male bear bit his sweetheart fiercely until she was taken away from the bridal chamber. They may need more time to have intimacies, experts say.
