China's fiscal revenue tops $598b in first 7 months

BEIJING - China's fiscal revenues in the first seven months this year reached 4.088 trillion yuan (US$597.6 billion), up 30.5 percent year on year, said the Finance Minister Xie Xuren on Wednesday.

Xie revealed the figure here when he reported the country's fiscal conditions in the first half to the fourth session of the Standing Committee of the 11th National People's Congress (NPC), China's top legislature.
