China ranks 2nd with 8.8% of world's exports in 2007

Updated: 2008-10-28 15:31 BEIJING - China's share in world's exports reached 8.8 percent by 2007, making it the world's 2nd largest exporter, only after Germany, said the National Statistics Bureau (NBS) on Tuesday.
With persistent government efforts to boost foreign trade and encourage investment, China's exports rose from US$9.8 billion to US$1,217.8 billion during the period, and imports gained from US$10.9 billion to US$956 billion, said the statement. |
