Bus accident in NE China kills 11, injures 39

Updated: 2008-11-17 15:27  The photo shows the site of a bus accident on the expressway in Yilan County of Harbin, capital of northeast China's Heilongjiang Province, on November 16, 2008. A bus turned over at about 4:40 p.m. on the expressway in Yilan County when the vehicle was driving up a slope on Saturday, killing 11 people and injuring 49 others. Initial investigations by Harbin police found slippery road and improper operation by the driver were to blame for the accident. [Xinhua]
