House fire kills one, injures four in Shanghai

SHANGHAI -- A suspected arsonist died and four were injured in a house fire on Saturday evening in eastern China's Shanghai, municipal police said.

The blaze occurred at around 6:30 p.m. in a house in Zhabei District, Shanghai police said. Investigation showed the suspect, surnamed Yu, broke into the house and set fire for domestic feud.

Yu died on the spot while four others, including Yu's brother-in-law surnamed Guo, were injured.

Yu was a native of Shanghai. The case was still being investigated.
