China sees 9.9% growth rate in 3 quarters

Beijing - A senior cabinet member supervising national economy said here Wednesday morning that China reached 9.9 percent of economic growth rate in the first three quarters of the year, indicating some mild adjustment may be needed while keeping stability.

Zhang Ping, minister in charge of the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC), reported the implementation of the 11th Five-Year Plan (2006-2010) on national economy and social development to the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress (NPC).
